The MX25P nut dryer is characterized by a multi-floor structure. Hazelnut, walnut and other shells or pellets are used as fuel. Models using electricity, fuel or gas are available.
Working principle: Each floor receives a certain amount of harvest. The harvest is loaded from the upper part of the conveyor belt and the heater and fan are controlled. The harvest on the lower floor, which first comes into contact with the hot air, is dried, then unloaded and replaced by the one on the next floor. The remaining upper floor is refilled via conveyor belt. The transition of crops between floors is carried out easily and smoothly thanks to pneumatically opening and closing covers.
Advantages: The high-pressure heated air serves a large tonnage of harvest due to its multi-floor structure, thus assisting drying with low energy consumption. It also takes up little space without sacrificing drying tonnage. Thanks to the mixer distribution placed on the upper floor, the humid air rising from the lower floors is easily removed from the machine. When layers change, the harvest is also mixed, which happens automatically.
